Compensation & Benefits: Salary for the role is anticipated to range from $200,000 to $220,000, commensurate with

Food Access Warehouse Operations & Inventory Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Manager of Food Access

Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Compensation: $30.04-$33.65 hourly (the annual salary range for this position is $49,987 to $55,994)

The Food Access Warehouse Operations & Inventory Coordinator manages daily warehouse operations, inventory systems, and food distribution to support equitable community access. This role ensures safe and efficient logistics, coordinates volunteers and partners, and drives continuous improvement aligned with food justice and organizational goals. All Coordinators are cross-trained and expected to step into and support one another’s roles as needed to ensure continuity of operations, including during staff absences, schedule gaps, or periods of increased demand.

SCHEDULE: Metro Caring currently operates on a four-day work week for full-time staff, with Fridays off.  Typical Food Access Team hours are 7:30-3:30 pm. Occasional Tuesday and Wednesday evenings as well as some weekends may be required.  

 

Community Connections Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Manager of Community Connections

Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Compensation: $30.04-$33.65 hourly

The Community Connections Coordinator plays a key operational support role in the day-to-day functioning of the Welcome Center and Fresh Food Market experience. This role helps coordinate frontline operations, support volunteer engagement, maintain systems and workflows, and assist with onboarding and training efforts for Community Connections staff and volunteers. The Coordinator serves as a collaborative resource for the team and helps ensure operational consistency, communication, and compassionate community care in alignment with Metro Caring’s values. 

This position does not include formal staff supervision, but does include coordination of volunteers, operational leadership during Market shifts, and support for frontline problem-solving and communication. 

 

Food Access Steering Committee Member

People most impacted by an unjust and failing food system should be in positions to lead, shape, and drive community centered programs that exist to meet their needs. Metro Caring is looking to recruit 8 members for a Food Access Steering Committee composed of directly impacted community members and food producers. In collaboration with Metro Caring staff, the committee will help guide and support the Food Access program’s major projects and decisions.
