Food Preservation Club – Canning Class

Developing food preservation skills creates an opportunity to reclaim both agency and knowledge about our food that the industrialized food system has purposefully shut us out of. Metro Caring’s Food Preservation Club will host multiple classes, beginning with a canning class, where participants will be able to turn fresh produce into shelf stable food with their own hands.
