Join Us at the Table
Your support has a direct impact, helping people access a week’s worth of healthy groceries, nutrition education, and anti-hunger resources.
When we each own our power, our story, and our seat at the table, we can grow the movement to end hunger until everyone has not just enough, but plenty. While today 1 in 9 Coloradans are hungry, our community reminds us that together we have an abundance of talent, generosity, and creative thinking needed to end hunger at its root.
Ways to Give
The Greenhouse is a group of Metro Caring supporters who give monthly. Just like a greenhouse keeps temperatures warm year-round, your monthly gift can create a place of nourishment, sustainability, and growth for our community 365 days a year.
Roots to Rise Society members are friends, organizations, and businesses who want to ensure our programs can take root to grow and mature. This multi-year giving society honors donors who have made a five-year pledge of $1,000 or more.
Perennial Roots offers the opportunity to ensure our anti-hunger programs will thrive for decades to come while advancing your own financial plan. Like perennials that grow back year after year, bequests and estate gifts leave an everlasting impact on your community.
Organize a Food Drive
Too often, when people are hungry, they are expected to take whatever is leftover, expired, or cheap. This can lead to diet-related diseases for adults and lower school performance for children. You can help us stock our shelves with fresh, nutritious, and culturally relevant foods for our Fresh Foods Market so that everyone has healthy food to eat.
Sponsor Our Programs
Your corporate engagement, workplace giving, and matching gifts can support our anti-hunger work. We offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organizations of all sizes. We’ll work together to craft a partnership that improves the health and well-being of our community while supporting your organization’s corporate and philanthropic goals.
Host a Fundraiser
Whether it’s your birthday, you’re biking across the country, or organizing a neighborhood block party, you can celebrate by making a positive impact in your community! Hosting a virtual or in-person fundraiser is a great way to connect the roots of your community with ours. Please let us know about your event before starting. We can assist in creating a specialized donation page and share resources like our logo and posters to help you.
Give Stock
When you donate appreciated assets to Metro Caring as an outright gift, you are entitled to an income-tax charitable deduction equal to the fair market value of the assets on the date of the gift, regardless of your cost basis.
