Fresh Foods Market
Our Fresh Foods Market is a free grocery store with nutritious foods available to our community. Appointments are required, but you do not need any identification, proof of need, or documentation to make a shopping appointment.
We prioritize stocking our shelves with fresh produce, meats, and dairy products. Most of our food is donated by local grocers, organizations, and individuals. Therefore, inventory in the Fresh Foods Market changes daily. We also purchase the most-needed items from local Colorado producers, especially from farmers and ranchers who are Black, Indigenous, Latine, people of color, women, or first-generation producers.
Need food now? We have a limited selection of ready-to-eat foods in our Grab & Go section. No appointment necessary. Just come in when we’re open.

Fresh Foods Market Community Agreements
- One Shopping Appointment Per Month Per Household
To ensure fair access for all households, we offer one appointment per month per household. If your needs exceed what one appointment provides, please connect with staff. We’re glad to talk through options and explore additional resources together.
- One Cart Per Household
To support smooth flow and reduce wait times, each household may use one market cart at a time. This helps keep aisles clear and ensures everyone has space to shop comfortably.
- Leave Personal Bags & Containers at Check-In
To support fairness and consistent item limits, all personal bags, reusable totes, backpacks, and outside containers must remain outside the market area. Only market-provided carts and boxes may be used while shopping. Items should remain inside the main cart and within posted limits. Additional containers attached to carts or carried through the market are not permitted. This helps us ensure equitable access for everyone shopping.
- Take What You Need, Share What You Can
We invite everyone to select foods that meet their household’s needs while being mindful that others are shopping as well. Some items may have posted limits to help ensure access for all.
- Keep the Market Moving
To reduce congestion and long wait times:
- Please continue shopping rather than waiting at a specific station.
- If an item is temporarily unavailable, our team will restock it as soon as possible.
- Staff may guide traffic flow to keep pathways clear and safe.
- Respect Personal Space
Please be mindful of others’ space, especially during busy times. Our market works best when we move with care and patience.
