Monday Food Box Distribution

To help more people affected by the delay in November SNAP benefits, Metro Caring is sharing prepackaged food boxes in our parking lot on Mondays for the rest of 2025. The Fresh Foods Market is now closed on Mondays. Boxes include items like rice, dried pinto beans, canned tomatoes, and fresh produce. Eggs, meat, and refrigerated items are also available. Bus passes, birth certificate vouchers, and walk-up community fridge items remain available.

In need of groceries soon? We have extra food boxes available during our Monday afternoon times. Please come by on Mondays at 1:00 – 3:00pm or 4:00 – 6:00pm, even if you do not have an appointment.

If you had a Monday appointment for the Fresh Foods Market scheduled, our team will contact you by phone or email to reschedule within the same week or to keep an appointment on Monday for a box. If we do not have your contact information, please email us at
