DESCRIPTION:Much of our work in community and human services is shaped by deeply rooted assumptions about who holds knowledge\, who makes decisions\, and how support is provided. Focus narrows. Decisions become harder. Trust can erode. What may look like disengagement or resistance is often cognitive overload.\nBut scarcity doesn’t stop there. \nNonprofit professionals are also navigating limited time\, funding pressure\, policy constraints\, and overwhelming need. Under that strain\, urgency can replace reflection. Systems become rigid. Burnout grows.
